MacEachern 9NUMBER 1
The Colonsay-PAR 4
Blue 450 yds. White 401 yds. Red 361 yds.
This par 4 plays straight uphill with large mounds and dunes lining the way. A wide fairway sloped towards the middle, makes this hole much easier. You are playing to a large, elevated, undulated green with a small opening, guarded by bunkers on both sides. The opening slopes towards the right bunkers that are quite deep, so your second shot must be precise. The key to playing this hole is a good tee shot. Without it, you will have a hard time reaching it in two. From the back tip of the tee deck, this hole can play as long as 450 yards.

NUMBER 2
Kay's Corner -PAR 4
Blue 377 yds. White 360 yds. Red 317 yds.
A dogleg left to right, so it's smart to aim down the middle and have an easy mid to short iron second shot. The green slopes quite sharply back to front. Bunkers are strategically placed along both sides of the fairways, but none are greenside. A difference of 2 irons can be the test, depending on pin location. Measures 388 yds from the tip of the blues.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 3
The Workshop-PAR 3
Blue 160 yds. White 160 yds. Red 150 yds.
A hole that plays to a green elevated from the tee. A pond is located left ,laterally in front of the tee. Just to tease some, woods are located on the left of the green and 1 spruce tree is located in front of the green, about 15 yds short. There are 3 greenside bunkers and deep nasty rough on the right. The green is higher in the middle and can be very tricky depending on the pin placement.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 4
Eldon’s Spot-PAR 4
Blue 364 yds. White 360 yds. Red 317 yds.
A par 4 that is a dogleg right to left, so on this hole you should aim right of center to be able to be on the green in 2, unless you feel you can hit past the wooded corner on the left. You must carry over a brook with small ponds in the 1st hollow off the tee. The green is sloped right to left with only 1 bunker located on the front right. This hole can measure 364 yds. from the back deck.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 5
MacLean’s Woods-PAR 3
Blue 180 yds. White 170 yds. Red 126 yds.
A pretty par 3 that plays to an elevated green. The green itself slopes sharply from back to fron so going long means a very fast putt back. Just pas the 1st bunker on the left side, as well as along the back, the landing area opens up somewhat, leaving you lots of space should your tee shot stray left or go long. As well, there is 1 greenside bunker located at the back of the green. this hole can play as long as 180 yards from the back deck.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 6
Reta’s Favorite-PAR 5
Blue 477 yds. White 477 yds. Red 458 yds.
A visual beauty off the tee and all the way to the green, with the clubhouse as a backdrop and the original family farmhouse of the owner to the right. This par 5 has out bounds just outside the tree line on the left all the way towards the green. After a short tight opening, you are faced with a large landing area all downhill. You have mounding on the right, as well as some rough. If you aim for the grove of trees on the right side, but avoid them on the left, it usually means a level stance for your 2nd swing, but going straight is fine as well. You maybe left with a side hill stance if you land just center and right, or if you are long enough, you migh wind up with a slight downhill swing. But no mattter what you do, you are faced with a choice of laying up or going for it, as you will eventually have to cross a pond located 100 yards from the green, with thick heavy bulrushes and a brook running on both sides. The pond is located at the bottom of a moderately sloped fairway. The green itself is guarded by a lateral pond to the left, a left side bunker, and a small bunker located just off the green on the right front which usually comes into play with any shot coming from the right side. Mounding surrounds the green which slopes back to front and right to left dropping off sharply towards the front left. This hole can play as long as 477 yards off the back deck.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 7
Jeremy’s Launch-PAR 5
Blue 535 yds. White 505 yds. Red 484 yds.
A par 5 hole where the trickiest part is your tee shot. A dogleg that plays left to right, and you have 2 choices, either hit straight out the chute between trees located on both sides of a deep valley or go over the trees located on the right hand side. If you can make it over, you can save a lot of yardage off your 2nd shot. It is a risk and reward type of shot! Whether you go for it or not, you have a large landing area on the other side, with very little trouble going into the smallest green on the course, except for a tree line located 150 yds from the green and a few scattered white birch trees in the fairway. The green itself has 2 greenside bunkers, one on either side of it. This hole measures 535 from the back tee.

NUMBER 8
Lorne’s Retreat-PAR 4
Blue 335 yds. White 335 yds. Red 280 yds.
A par 4 hole with an important tee shot for those playing the blue or white tees as you must carry a marsh area that's between trees and several deep grass bunkers running horizontally across the opening. The best place to aim is down the middle towards a clump of white birch trees. if you can get past that, you may have a view of the green, if not, you will be faced with a blind 2nd shot. The green has 1 greenside bunker on the left as well as 2 others a few yards in front on the right. This hole can play as long as 335 yds from the back tips.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 9
Jack's Place-PAR 4
Blue 334yds. White 323 yds. Red 279 yds.
A short, but tricky, par 4 with stunning beauty! The big hitters will be tempted to go for the green, but it's not a easy route, with bunkers lining both sides as well as pond on the right. Smarter play is to head right of centre, leaving you a full wedge or short iron leading to the biggest green on the course. It is sloped back to front with numerous undulations along the way. A very easy green to 3 putt if you're not careful! This hole measures 334 from the back tee.

A short but tricky par three with a green that slopes from front to back. This green is carefully protected by bunkers on the left, back, and right of the green.

Number 11
Reversal of Fortune
Blue 382 yds. White 367 yds. Red 343 yds.
This par 4 plays downhill, so you can blast away here. Go for the middle on this hole as stray shots to the left may land in a bunker or in deep, nasty rough. This fairway drops off sharply from center right to left. The slightly elevated green, guarded by bunkers on both the left and front sides, make for a difficult second shot. The green is large with undulations providing for interesting pin placements. Once on the green, the surrounding views of the Clyde River are breathtaking. This hole can play as long as 382 yards.

NUMBER 12
The Clyde - Par 4
Blue 375 yds. White 358 yds. Red 307 yds.
This absolutely beautiful par 4 runs along the scenic Clyde River. This hole is one of the most beautiful holes on the entire course, and has a large landing area! Your tee shot on this hole requires a center to right shot, as this will give you the preferred landing area. Going left on this whole can be tricky as the left hand side of this hole has two well placed sand traps and out of bounds along the river. The bunker on the right side can catch also catch a few of the longer hitters. The green is well guarded with a large bunker on the right and two bunkers of the left side of the green. This green slopes right to left with lots of undulation. This hole can play as long as 375 yards.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 13
The MacLean's- Par 3
Blue 200 yds. White 164 yds. Red 137 yds.
This is a slight downhill tee shot to a slightly elevated green sloped back to front. The views of the Clyde and West River are stunning from this angle. Depending on the time of day and season, you might see oyster fishermen in their dories going about harvesting fine Island shellfish. Going long on your tee shot, will result in a bounce off the steep back of the green and may cause you to go out of bounds. Going too far right other hand, may cause you to wind up in thick fescue or in a bunker. This hole can swallow up a lot of shots if you do not fly the green. This hole can play as long as 200 yards.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 14
Hector's Ahead- Par 4
Blue 387 yds. White 335 yds. Red 295 yds.
This is another fine challenge with scenery to match. Your preferred tee shot will see you land in the center or right of center of the fairway. Be careful not to land in the bunker hidden in fescue dunes along the right side! Bunkers are also in play along the left side. Going over the left side bank puts you out of bounds. The dunes and mounding will help to keep your ball in play. Your 2nd shot plays slightly uphill to the large green which is heavily undulated, providing for excellent pin placements Bunkers protect both front sides of this green, so be careful. This hole can play as long as 387 yards

NUMBER 15
The Teeth Of The Dog-PAR 4
Blue 450 yds. White 439 yds. Red 363 yds.
We feel this is one of the most challenging par 4's you will find anywhere. You are faced with a slight uphill tee shot with woods located on the left. Well placed bunkers line both sides of the fairway , and a lateral pond is located on the right side. Luckily, the landing area is large and quite level with the preferred landing location being anywhere center or left of center. A long, elevated, narrow green on a steep hill awaits you at the end of this hole. A pond runs the complete length of this green, so take care with your approach shot. This hole will test any players' ability and can play as long as 432 yards from the tips of the back tee.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 16
Watson's Hoping-PAR 5
Blue 486 yds. White 463 yds. Red 405 yds.
This is a beautiful par 5 with a good chance for a birdie for the long hitters. This hole plays downhill towards the Clyde River once more, with a wide open landing area. Mounding and dunes frame this hole, as well as wild flowers along the right side. There is a good chance of being on the green in two, so avoid the pond and bunkers on the right. This hole can play as long as 486 yards.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 17
Ozzy's Pride-PAR 4
Blue 459 yds. White 442 yds. Red 290 yds.
This par plays uphill. A very pretty hole as you look around from the tee areas. Your are hitting into a large friendly, level landing area. This hole has lots of bunkers all the way up both sides with many dunes and lots of mounding. On the exterior left of these mounds, you will be greeted by acres of wild flowers running nearly the entire length of the hole. Your second shot is going up an elevation of approximately 85' or more to reach the green. The wind is usually in your face all the way, especially as you get closer to the green. The green itself is sloped front to back being much wider than it is deep, and has many undulations. This hole can play as long as 459 yards from the tip of the back tee.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUMBER 18
Angus's Vantage-PAR 3
Blue 167 yds. White 142 yds. Red 115 yds.
This par 3 is stunning! You shoot between a grove of trees towards a large undulating green located over 70 feet below the tee. You may want to take a picture or two from this area, no matter where you look, the scenery is spectacular. The green is guarded all around the sides and front by bunkers as well by some dunes located close by. You don’t want to go too long either as a drop of more than 40 feet awaits you. It can play as long as 167 yards from the tip of the back tee.
